Victor Wainwright and the Wildroots round out the Friday line up.</p> <p>Saturday features Big Sugar making their first appearance in Calabogie supported by Tom Lavin and the Legendary Powder Blues Band supporting. The day is jam packed with quality rockin&rsquo; blues bands including the Weber Brothers, JW Jones, Lyle Odjick and the Northern Steam, and Kyle Lalone kicks it all off.</p> <p>Festival Talent Coordinator Todd Bernard says, &ldquo;&hellip;we are very pleased with the quality of the line up again this year. Visit calabogieblues.com to book.</p> <p>For more information contact Todd Bernard (613) 801-1017.</p> <p>***</p> <h2>Provincial funding for Calabogie festivals</h2> <p>Renfrew Mercury April 27, 2016</p> <p>The Mountain Man Music Festival in Calabogie &#8232;and the Calabogie Blues and Ribfest are among the recipients of recently announced provincial funding.</p> <p>Ontario is contributing almost $1.1 million to festivals and events in Eastern Ontario as part of Celebrate Ontario 2016 to increase tourism, stimulate local economies and create jobs, says an April 21 press release from Peterborough MPP Jeff Leal. The Mountain Man Music Festival is getting $140,406 and the Calabogie Blues and Ribfest has been awarded $154,000.
