A multi-instrumentalist, she began playing the violin at the age of four and soon incorporated piano, ukulele, and guitar into her repertoire. After a few years on the Victoria music scene, which saw her perform in many local bands and as a solo act, she was offered a publishing deal with Ole Media Management.', '2.p' => 'She soon relocated to Toronto. Her time at Ole saw Rebecca write with many artists and she traveled extensively across North America and Europe (Nashville, LA, New York, London, Sweden and Paris). While firmly rooted in pop, it spans genres ranging from early twentieth century Parisian torch songs to jazz, vintage rhythm and blues, klezmer, and folk. Recorded in New York with Grammy nominated and Juno Award winning producer and engineer Roman Klun (Sarah McLaughlin, Levon Helm), this collection of songs truly represents a unique artist coming into her own.
